God v. Mukasey

It should be clear to everyone by now that the US Judiciary is and has been the primary battleground for the Zionist neo-con war against the American people, and especially our government, our Constitution, our minorities and our political and religious dissidents. Ironically it was the US Congress, lead by Feinstein, Schumer and Specter that orchestrated what they might believe was the final turn over of the US republic to the Judeo Christian Zionist forces of Pat Robertson and his Zionist movement. This turn over was staged as an outcry against the former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, who was charged with politicizing the Department of Justice in an effort to make it subservient to the Republican Party. It was a brilliant performance aimed at perpetuating the lie that we have two parties in the US and a representative democracy. It was also a very convincing performance that may have even fooled Gonzales who finally gave up and resigned, but only after he perhaps realized that he was not fighting a political battle, Democrats v. Republicans, but rather he was sitting in someone else’s seat. That someone was the Chief Zionist judiciary executioner, the powerful man whom some might call dishonorable, the Robes Pierre of our time, the judge Michael Mukasey.

It seems that Gonzales finally figured it out, after several rounds of Congressional grilling and media beatings, that he was not being forced out of the Department of Justice for sanctioning torture, or violating his oath to protect the US Constitution, nor for Abu Ghraib, or the witch hunt being carried out in US courtrooms against Muslim and Arab political activists and other minorities and dissidents. It seems that at some point, Gonzales either figured out, or someone tugged his coat tail and advised him that he was standing in the way of the complete Judeo Christian Zionist take over of the US republic, and he resigned. Like the synchronized workings of a fine watch, Gonzales resigned and Mukasey was nominated, with a presidential threat to refuse to nominate anyone other than Mukasey, which may have meant that the final stage of the takeover had been reached, and no more substitutes or stalling would be allowed.

Mukasey’s nomination, and confirmation was a perfectly staged event with the Democrats playing their assigned role as protectors of the US Constitution and the rule of law, while the Republicans played their complimentary role, spouting the rhetoric of fear and hatred of Muslims and Arabs and Islam, and war on terrorism, as a cause for abolishing the US Constitution and adopting the laws of the Old Testament, (not the Torah) as interpreted by the Zionist neo-cons in their Talmud and the pro-Israel Christian Zionist pimps who have defiled the pulpits of the United States with their desecration of the Bible and blasphemy against Jesus in support of the illegal and inhumane Israeli occupation of Palestine and Iraq, and their disdain for Blacks and other minorities. .

If the witch-hunt against Arabs and Muslims that began under the Clinton administration with the illegal detention of people like Palestinian activist Dr. Musa Abu Marzook and other Arab and Muslim political activists from Algeria and also Palestine didn’t convince us that our judiciary is neither independent, or just, an 11 year sentence handed down to the Palestinian activist Dr. Abdel Haleem Ashqar November 21st in a federal district courtroom in Chicago Illinois, after he was acquitted by a jury of the charge against him, should leave no doubt in anyone’s mind. In fact it would probably not be an exaggeration to suggest that the Judeo-Christian Zionist movement in the US has successfully taken over the executive branch of the US government, the Congress, and now our judiciary. A temporary state of unfortunate circumstance.

After his confirmation, Mukasey thanked what might be deemed in any other such instance, his co-conspirators, and pledged to wipe out and punish those who have in his words, hurt others with their hatred. This is coded Zionist speech that might mean that Mukasey understands and accepts the assignment, and will act to wipe out all pro-Palestinian activism, criticism of Israel, political dissidence, and opposition to the Judeo-Christian Zionist movement. His job as head of the Department of Justice, which controls not only the courts but also law enforcement in the US, is the perfect instrument to accomplish such a purging. Congress has given him a new thought crimes bill to enforce. The new law, which is set to clear the Senate any day now, is designed to silence anyone who would speak out against their illegal coup, and the Zionist ideologically that is their cause, deeming such dissidents criminal radicals, while criminalizing free speech, and also thinking, all in violation of our US Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Under any other form of government this illegitimate Congress, a Congress that is not representative and that has less than a 19% approval rating, would be dissolved and new elections would be held to seat new, and real representatives of the people. Ironically the Constitution that these Congressional charlatans hate and seek so desperately to destroy is the very law and idea that the people of this country love and are sworn to, and is all that keeps this Congress in power. I imagine that even those who would talk secretly of succession from this illegitimate government’s authority are no doubt held back by love of the union, and the people who have been joined as brothers and sisters, and the citizenry for over 200 years of common struggle to perfect the idea liberty and justice for all people equally, and to protect the soil and property that gave that idea a staging ground for what was deemed the great American experiment.

My fellow Americans, a bleak picture has been painted upon the United States canvass, and the true reflection of the Founder’s of this once great country has been erased. This new image, this ugly and idol god, is a picture not unlike the picture of the Russian Bolsheviks that we so passionately hated, so long ago, yet have embraced with such enthusiasm today. It is a picture of our plotted future, which except for faith in and belief in God might cause most of us to tremble with fear, and to faint, and to give up the struggle inherited from our country’s Founders, and the traditions established by them. It is an inheritance of private property and individual rights, and the courage to stand to the last man and woman, in defense of our Constitution and Bill of Rights, and to demand our inalienable rights, and liberty and justice for all.

The sacrifice of thousands of our children, killed and maimed on foreign shores, used as sacrificial sheep in a geo-political war intended to expand and to strengthen the empire being pursued by these modern day Philistines, afforded with our own tax dollars, is enough cause to resist.

When the people love their government, because it protects their rights and freedoms, and guides them through just laws nearer to God and to their prosperity, God said in the Holy Scripture that He will love that government, and will bless its people and its land. Yet, when a government becomes an enemy to God and His people, seeking to remove their rights and freedoms, a government that hates justice and upholds evil, and immorality, exploiting and oppressing the people, while robbing them of their wealth in disobedience to God and the civil laws of man, God will curse that government, and it will fall.

Now is indeed the time for all good and true American men and women to come to the aide of our country.

Vindicating Islam

Being Muslim in the United States is interesting. It’s very different from being Christian, or Jewish. As a Christian, or a Jew, one can do pretty much anything; good or bad, and no one will attribute it to your religion. As a Muslim, if you do something good, it is assumed that it is because you are not “too” Muslim. On the other hand, if you do something bad, it is said to be exactly because you are Muslim. It’s hard to know whether this is because people in the US don’t feel that Christianity, or Judaism impacts the thinking and behavior of their adherents, or if they believe that Islam employs a special sort of brainwashing technique that every Muslim is subjected to, even if they never attend a mosque, or go to an Islamic school, which is unfortunately true of most Muslims.

Following the attacks on September 11th, quite a bit was written about Islamic schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan, even though most of the hijackers supposedly came from Saudi Arabia. A lot was written about Saudi Wahabism, even though it is reported that Osama Bin Laden practiced something called Deobandism, which is said to have actually originated in India, while Al-Qadea’s religious leader is an American Jew named Adam Pearlman who attended Hebrew school. To make sense of these oddities, hoping to understand the impact that we assume education has on Muslim behavior, it would have been helpful, by way of comparison, to also talk about what type of teaching takes place in other schools ran by other religious organizations and sects. In the sixties, when we were trying to figure out what in the world was wrong with African Americans that could lead to riots, we tried to blame it on poor education and poverty, yet ignorance and hunger alone does not cause people to burn down city blocks in their own impoverished neighborhoods. If it did, every major city in the US, and also the rural south, would be on fire, and many Whites, Hispanics, and African Americans would be fanning those flames.

Those who were guiding our post 9/11 discovery of Islam clearly wanted to make an impression, and that impression had nothing to do with fact, and was actually quite a bit of fiction. It was a type of fiction that is malicious. Not only because it led to so much harm to many innocent Muslims and Arabs, and the murders of many non-Muslims who looked like Arabs, but also because it distorted the truth about the beliefs of 1.5 billion human beings with whom we must share a world, in peace. Kind of makes you wonder how and why the idea of perpetual war crept into our national conscience and conversation, along with preemptive strike, and war on terrorism around the same time. It seems that acceptance of any one of these ideas is dependant upon acceptance of the other. For either to become rooted in our national psyche as acceptable, a very formidable enemy must exist, or so we have been told. And so we have the brainchild of Daniel Pipes and Steven Emerson, better known as “Islamism.” According to nearly every Zionist pundit writing in our newspapers, or preaching to us after 9/11, “Islamism” is our enemy, and it is what led to 9/11. You are perhaps asking now, what Islamism and Deobandoism, and Wahabism and Adam Pearlman has to do with Islam. The right answer would be nothing the real answer is everything, if you believe the media.

Comparing the technique of Muslim teachers in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan or Afghanistan, with the techniques employed by Jewish or Christian teachers in Israel, or Rome, might have helped those seeking to understand religious education, that a relationship between religious education and horrendous acts of terrorism is almost non-existent. It may have also helped everyone to understand that religious education is designed to indoctrinate students about how to be righteous according to Books that are said to be Divinely revealed or inspired, and that is why it is usually religious people who send their children to religious schools and not atheists. It is true that “what” is taught is what matters, and not whether it is deemed religious or not, except when you are talking about religious education, and adherents to a particular or any religious faith. So true is this fact, that it is absurd for us to accept that Islam inspired the 9/11 terrorism or any act of terrorism, and more than absurd for us to continue to believe this lie, or to allow those who continue to perpetuate this lie to go unanswered and unchallenged The perpetrators of 9/11 never even went to religious schools. They were not from religious families. They did not expect or seek to die as martyrs as the Muslim bashers and Islamaphobes told us. Instead, they sought to die full of booze, after having spent the previous night at strip joints and with whores.

I mentioned this at a talk that I gave at Columbia University, and after the talk one of the students approached me and said, “what if they thought that by dying as martyrs, they would be forgiven for all of their sins, and so they just had a good time.” Poor child, I thought to myself. He doesn’t understand that people who are taught in religious schools, are not taught that watching naked women swing on poles, drinking booze, and sleeping with whores is a good time. He obviously had not read Emerson’s description of the Islamists mind. Emerson said they hate liberalism, and everything that is part of the Western culture, which is a gross exaggeration. That religious Muslims, like all pious people, abhor sin would have been closer to the truth. Pipes said Islamists are religious fanatics who want to create a paradise on earth, where they eliminate sin and the sinful, another exaggeration, but it at least makes the point that they would not seek nearness to God in whorehouses. It’s as mind boggling as Jews who say that the sole cause for the holocaust was anti-Semitism, even though there were Jewish SS, and Jews who also worked with the Nazis in other ways against their fellow Jews. You can call them self-hating, but you can’t attribute their acts to Judaism, or even Zionism. Similarly, you can call the 9/11 hijackers murdering dogs and cowards, but you can’t call them Muslims, or Islamic, and you cannot blame their behavior on Islam.

It seems that the Muslim organizations, the media and the so-called moderate Muslims have launched another round of Muslim renunciation of terrorism campaign. That’s innocent enough on its face, yet when you think about all of these apologies, you start to wonder if the apologizers don’t secretly feel that perhaps Islam did in some way inspire the behavior of the 9/11 hijackers, and you start worry that all of these apologies might cause others to openly believe the same. Let me take this opportunity to assure everyone that Islam did not inspire 9/11, and to ask Muslim leaders to spare the rest of us the bi-annual ritual of Muslim apology for 9/11. CAIR, the Council on American Islamic Relations, went so far as to send out an e-mail that said, “true Muslims denounce terrorism.” Let me respond by saying that true Muslims also denounce adultery, lying, stealing, and other moral and legal violations of law. Let me add that terrorism is not an Islamic phenomenon. It is an act of violence that is carried out against innocent civilians to achieve political aims. Starving 500,000 innocent children to death, hoping to compel their parents to overthrow a dictator might be included among acts of terrorism, along with 60 years of illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine that has resulted in the murders, displacement and imprisonment of more women and children and other innocent civilians than can be counted. So, if Islam inspired 9/11, who or what inspired the deadly US sanctions against Iraq after the Gulf war, and what inspired the illegal and brutal occupation of Palestine? The answer is that neither, Islam, or Christianity, or Judaism inspired any of these evils, and just as the Church has rightfully refused to apologize for the war in Iraq, and atrocities associated with that war, and Jews have never apologized for the crimes associated with the continued illegal and brutal occupation of Palestine, even though they believe in collective guilt and punishment, and fund the occupation, Muslims should stop taking the blame for 9/11. We should spend our time teaching the truth about Islam and responding to the many lies that have gone unchallenged that seek to link Islam, and Islamic education with terrorism, and that seek to create a relationship between Islam and terrorism that simply does not exist. Most importantly, we must also live our lives in such a way that people come to understand that it’s not our clothes or names, or accents, that make us Muslim. The Qur’an says it is our submission to the Will of God, which is a will of righteousness as understood universally, and not evil. That doesn’t mean that Muslims don’t sin. It means that when we do, we are not practicing Islam, or following Islamic teachings, and that we are uninspired.

International justice requires an international court: Commemorating the 5th anniversary of the Rome Statute

On July 1, 2007 the United Nations along with international NGOs and others from around the world, celebrated the 5th anniversary of the Rome Statute. 5 years ago, the representatives of 120 nation/states came together in Rome, and decided that "lasting peace requires justice." In that spirit, and in pursuit of that result, they established the International Criminal Court, or ICC.

The International Criminal Court is a permanent court with jurisdiction over genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes. The Rome Statute according to ICC prosecutor, Luis Moreno-Ocampo, " created a comprehensive and global criminal justice system." The Rome Statute incorporates and codifies the Genocide Convention, and the Geneva Conventions. It also "integrates different legal and procedural traditions into a new international model, where victims are given the right to participate in proceedings." The Rome Statute also created a trust fund for reparations, and compensation to be paid in favor of victims.

The ICC, or International Criminal Court is granted subject matter, and territorial jurisdiction over genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes by the Rome Statute. Since the UN Security Council can refer any situation to the court, it is possible that the court's jurisdiction can extend to the entire world.

For those of us who understand the very real relationship between justice and peace, the International Criminal Court and the Rome Statute represent the world's only hope for a system of international justice that is blind to government and corporate power, and politics, yet is able to see perfectly the need for an equalizer of men, who are prone by an imperfect nature, to the sometimes violent and lawless excesses that result from vengeance, brute strength, and greed.

There is no more poignant example of this than the so-called "war against terrorism" that has shaped up to be little more than a politicized assault on Muslims, Arabs and Islam, and for oil, carried out by religious fanatics mostly in the US, who have masked their hatred with self righteousness and vengeance against an entire religion and culture, because of the act of a few socio-paths who lacked both religion and culture. Pre-emptive wars, Guantanamo Bay, renditions, torture, Abu Ghraib, Haditha, economic sanctions that killed millions of innocent children, the elderly, sick and disabled in an attempt to coerce political outcomes, are all examples of such excesses, perpetrated by governments and their militaries against civilian populations.

We can only imagine how differently things would be if instead of vigilante justice carried out at the behest of a few ideologues, driven by racism and religious bigotry, the 9/11 tragedy had been investigated by an international court, and its perpetrators found, captured and convicted through an international criminal process, and punished with the consent and consensus of an entire world, united in its intolerance for terrorism, and sympathetic, rather than suspicious of its victims.

Imagine if Saddam Hussein had been captured and taken to the Hague for trial, and his life or death determined by an international court. Rather than being a source of further hostility, justice might have united the world, and served as a step towards reconciliation rather than further polarization.

The war on terror is not the only example of an action that might have been better prosecuted by an international criminal court, than resolved through pre-emptive, and perpetual wars of aggression, which are themselves international crimes. There are many other examples of on going conflicts that will only be truly resolved once the issues related to rights and law are also resolved. Such issues cannot be resolved by wars, or negotiations.

The 5th anniversary of the Rome Statute, seems an appropriate time for us to consider the future of a world that is ever more connected, and where the actions of a few, whether governments, groups or individuals can affect a great number of people. Political expediency and vengeance cannot be our only considerations and preoccupations. We must again look at justice as a cause, and also a deterrent. We must reach that understanding shared by 120 nations in Rome, when they declared that "lasting peace requires justice." I add, that international crimes require an international court, and law. Never again should one nation be allowed to prosecute an international war of vengeance against a single race, religion and culture with impunity. The International Criminal Court is an independent court that is not dependent upon governments or the UN Security Council to trigger action. It is worthy of our support, and respect, and should be ratified by every nation/state in the world.

Deja Vu in Palestine

In the mid-nineties after Hamas was established and was working as pretty much the sole provider of social and other services in Palestine, the US and Israel decided that to accomplish their final takeover of what remained of Palestine, they must stage a negotiations process. They did not want to culminate years of brutal occupation by adding an even more brutal genocide to the occupation saga. For their taste, the occupation should end through a negotiated land for peace process that would give Israel most of what it wanted, and the Palestinians just enough of what they could get, that no one would complain anymore that Israel had been less than fair with the people whose land they had illegally occupied for so many years. After all, if the Palestinians were willing to compromise, and it could be made to appear that Israel had also compromised, who could argue that anything unjust, or unfair had taken place.

It’s much like the land deals made between the US settlers and the Native Americans. How often were the Native Americans reminded that their leaders had sold much of the land for beads, guns and firewater, and entered into various agreements that ultimately led to the Native American fate, which was genocide and reservations? Who cared if it was absolutely absurd that negotiations between the white settlers and the Native American would even take place? Most Native Americans probably didn’t even understand English well enough to actually negotiate anything of substance, and there is no proof anywhere that a majority of Native Americans ever agreed to turn nearly all of their land and natural resources over to the settlers, and to voluntarily be placed on reservations. Why would they ever agree to such things? We could argue that they had no idea about the gold, the oil, and the value and importance of the natural resources they owned. We might also argue that rights to fish and hunt and to live undisturbed may have been more meaningful to them at the time, than undeveloped land. What we can’t argue, with any amount of logic or legal and moral thinking to support our argument, is that what ever took place was fair, or just.

The suffering of the Native Americans at the hands of their foreign occupiers is legendary. Billion dollars per year gambling casinos cannot compensate for the massacres, the lies, and the dirty tricks. How much would we have to pay or give back to compensate for the extermination of millions of Native Americans the fake negotiated agreements, and coerced and dishonest peace treaties, shady land exchanges and sales of priceless real estate for beads and booze that stain our US story.

The United States has recognized the evils of the European settlers of this land, their special Indian laws, and deals. We have attempted to wash the Native American blood from our hands with money and apologies that have gone a long way towards relieving our national conscience of the horrors, both real and imagined. Unfortunately there is nothing that we can do to heal the hearts and minds of the Native Americans, who are still struggling to regain their since of humanness and value in spite of our overbearing history, and nationalist pride.

The Oslo peace process was nothing more than an attempt to buy Palestinian land with beads and booze. The only differences between what took place in the US, and what was supposed to take place in Palestine are the geographic location and the race of the victims. Yasser Arafat and his Fatah and PLO were nothing more than drunken Indians, who were willing to give away Palestine in exchange for personal power and prestige, and wealth. Shortly after the US and Israel brought the PLO out of exile from Tunisia, it established a security force that was supposed to bring order to the West bank and Gaza. The first job of the security force was to round up and to arrest all Hamas members, since Israel and the US were planning an election for Yasser Arafat, and he was to have no competitors. Welcome to Palestinian democracy!

Following Arafat’s suspect victory at the Palestinian polls, the news media East and West declared him the legitimate representative for the Palestinian people. This charade took us all the way to Camp David where the big lie failed, resulting in a Palestinian uprising that left thousands of Palestinians dead and prospects for peace shattered by the stark realization that the US and Israel could not be trusted. The Palestinian people realized at that moment that it was not the Israelis that had lacked a peace partner, it was the Palestinians. It was also the Palestinians, and not the Israel’s who simultaneously realized that the PA was created to lend democracy to Israel, to be used as part of its political charade that was intended to lend legitimacy to a failed Camp David peace initiative that was intended to wrestle Jerusalem from Arafat, and to pen the Palestinians on refugee camps, dispersed strategically throughout what was historically Palestine. The reservations would have been called Palestine; its capital would have been Abu Dis. There would be no right of return for the Palestinians living in exile throughout the world, and there was no real solution offered for the millions of Palestinian refugees.

Today, God, history, or fate, whichever one we believe is a superior power, has returned us to the past. Again, the Palestinian leadership is separated between Hamas and Fatah, each on different territory. The US and Israel are making the same choices because they are the only choices available to the types of people who are scripting US and Israeli policies in respect to the Middle East. It doesn’t seem to matter that their very limited vision and dishonest and self-serving objectives are hurting an entire world of people in and outside of the Middle East. Biblical myths, the shameless exploitation of human tragedies, murder and mayhem can only get you so far. Israel, the US and now the EU, who has newly joined this gang of thieves in earnest with its publicly declared support of Mahmoud Abbas and Fatah, will one day get the message that reached Arafat at Camp David. That message is that Palestine is not merely a Palestinian issue. The Al-Aqsa mosque, Jerusalem, and the very nature of the gross injustices of this brutal and illegal occupation cause it to be much more than just another episode of European conquest and colonization.

It is the international and universal nature of this dispute, along with the moral questions it gives rise to, and the potential loss of any respect for law that lessen tremendously the likelihood of Israel’s and the Quartet’s success. As for the Arab governments who have played along, knowing what actually awaits the Palestinians should Israel and its supporters succeed, they should understand that their futures are tied to Palestine’s. If Palestine fails, they also fail, since as one tribe falls, so do they all, eventually. Déjà vu only lasts until we realize that we have seen this all before, and then it ends with a choice to change courses, or to continue down the familiar path.

The New York Times writer, Thomas Friedman wrote some days ago that oil had been discovered in Israel, and that this oil is ingenuity and professional; expertise and entrepreneurial zeal. Oil has also been found in Palestine, and it is symbolized as resistance to occupation, a will to live and survive, and a determination and resolve to be free, and to realize long sought after dreams of sovereignty and prosperity. Palestinian oil is fueling a paradigmatic change that can literally change the world, by ending a certain history, while beginning a new future for us all. Part of Palestine’s guiding vision appears to be an end to the era of European conquest and colonization that has drenched the world in innocent blood, and bad karma. It is symbolized as an end to Déjà vu in Palestine, a new path for the Palestinian people, and also the world.

Moral voice of America calls for end to Israeli occupation of Palestine

The world demands an end to illegal occupation, racism, genocide, ethnic cleansing, and apartheid in Palestine!

Anisa Abd el Fattah

On June 10 and 11, 2007, the people of the United States will gather in Washington DC, the nation’s capital, demanding an end to the 40 year long illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine, and the ethnic cleansing, genocide and apartheid that characterizes this illegal enterprise.

While the governments of the free world continue to betray their trusts to uphold international law, to protect the weak and defenseless against oppression and illegal acts of aggression, genocide and ethnic cleansing, the people of the world are gathering in the major cities throughout the world to demand freedom, and justice for Palestine. It will take more than an opportunistic, and politicized outcry against the situation in Darfur, to mask the blatant hypocrisy and complicity of the EU, the United States, and other governments in the crime of the 20th century, which is the continued and illegal occupation, and genocide in Palestine. We must all ask ourselves how the US government can see so clearly, and feel so passionately about the supposed genocide in Darfur, while it has provided the Israeli with military armaments, and financial support for ethnic cleansing and genocide against the Palestinian people for years, violating international, and even US law by so doing.

The message being sent by world government hypocrisy, and double standards, and their own racism and culpability, is that if you don’t have oil, the governments of the world couldn’t care less about your rights, or your lives, or the law. And even worse, that racial supremacism, and colonialism is still acceptable in the world against the peoples of Africa and the Middle East, especially if you are Arab or Christian, or Muslim.

On June 10 and 11 the people of the US will speak out against racial supremacism, colonialism, ethnic cleansing, genocide and apartheid in Palestine. June 10 and 11th 2007, the balance of power in this conflict will change. The people of Palestine will no longer stand alone to be victimized by the so called “governments of the free world” and their lackeys. June 10 and 11 2007, in Washington DC, the voice of moral America will cry out in solidarity with Palestine in its demand for freedom, justice and an end to the illegal occupation, racial supremacism, apartheid, ethnic cleansing and genocide that is all part of a racist and imperialist attempt to re-colonize the Middle East and Africa.

The moral voice of America will also demand an end to the illegal economic boycott of Palestine, that is part of the Zionist campaign to ethnically cleanse Palestine, and the genocide, and colonization that is taking place there, supported by the US, the EU and other governments, including many of the Arab governments. We pray that the strength of this moral outcry in America, which is a part of the larger and stronger international outcry, will soon lead to freedom for the Palestinian people. We also pray that the crimes of the 20th century against these people will be ended, and as a result, and for the first time in 40 years, there will be a real chance for peace for the peoples of both Israel and Palestine.

Immigration reform bill undermines US Sovereignty and Security

The so-called "Immigration Reform Bill" reforms nothing. In fact it will destroy the immigration apparatus in this country by changing the very meaning and intent of legal immigration to the US.

Before taking an indepth look at the Bill, which everyone has said will be almost impossible to do within the days given before the Bill goes to the Senate floor for a vote, let's look at one of the very obvious deficiencies of this Bill. Has anyone wondered why our elected officials have not pressed either the Department of Justice or the Pentagon to explain to us how the protection and security of our Border became the business of the Department of Immigration? Does it seem to you that certain people may have felt that they needed to put something at stake for the average American in the immigration debate? They put our national security and sovereignty at stake. Would you rather give 12 million or more illegal immigrants amnesty today, or 200 million illegal immigrants amnesty tommorrow? That's the question put before us in this Bill, and also in the immigration debate. How else do you explain placing border security in an immigration bill as part of a compromise?

For some reason I always assumed that protecting our country's borders is a matter of national defense, that should fall under the auspices of the Department of Defense. Instead of our Department of Defense seeking to insure that our national borders are sealed and secure, our elected offcials are using border security as a bargaining chip in an immigration debate. The debate was spawned by a literal invasion through our southern border. They are saying to us in so many words, that they will not secure our southern border unless we allow amnesty for more than 12 million illegal workers who have violated our immigration laws, taken jobs from legal immigrants and our nations low skilled citizen work force, and that is destroyig our Middle class. Illegal immigration is costing the US taxpayer billions in health care costs, and other costs. The guest worker program is a scheme by which hourly farm work and other minimum wage jobs will be given to people who work for less than minimum wage. It doesn't take an economist to figure out what affect that will have on wages in the US. Circuit City's plan to lay off more than 3000 workers and to replace them with people who are willing to work for less is an indication of our future if we allow this Bill to pass. Cities are already walking away from High School graduation, and College Bound programs in minority communities, and in their place minority students are being offered opportunties to work minimum wage, or below minimum wage jobs. This creation of a "sub" labor pool will undermine the American worker and our economy.

We should ask ourselves what would cause our government to act so obviously against its own interest, laws, and people? Perhaps it is the unexplained fires burning across the US, the mysterious factory burnings and explosions along with the gasoline and toxic substance spills, the freak accidents that include school buses, and other acts of terror like the Cho massacre at VT that seem to be ever more frequent, and unsolved.

Today CNN was speaking to the "people of North America." Hilton Hotels released an advertisement campaign that shows two people from different parts of the world cheerfully bringing their lands together and eliminating their borders.

It's pretty clear that the present immigration reform bill is aimed at changing not only immigration law, but also the meaning, purpose and intent of immigration. The Bush Administration's trotting out the Secretary of Commerce, rather than the Secretray of Labor to endorse the new compromise is also very telling.

America is at a crossroads and we must decide our future here and now. Will we remain a sovereign nation ruled by law, or will we become part of the North American Union, surrendering our Constitution, our property and our rights to world governments and transnational corporations, who will create a New World Economic Order where everyone except the wealthy elite, and corporate excutives who are making multi million dollar salaries, with billion dollar pensions, will be poor. In the language of the UN and other global communists, that's called international economic parity, and that's what's being offered in this Bill. A chance for the American worker to work longer, and for less money, or jump fences for a job.

Is Don Imus a neo-con hoe?

The big uproar over radio talk show host Don Imus's defamation of 12 young scholars, and potential leaders who happen to also be the Rutger's University women's basketball team is appropriate. The entire country should be outraged when anyone abuses power and access to the public, to defame and malign others unjustly.

Unfortunately, as with most things in the US media, the response of those who are hand picked by the media to respond, are missing many of the real issues at play in my opinion. In an attempt to stir up a debate about free speech, and race in the US, many have attempted to cast the debate about whether to fire Imus.

Should Imus be fired for exercising his right to free speech? Imus doesn't talk on the radio for free. His speech is not free. Those who say that he should be fired, seem to be upset mostly because they feel that he is a closet racist whose demons pushed him out of that closet via his tongue, and his radio program. As far as they are concerned, his statement was intended as an insult to all African American women. Well, not every member of that team is black, or nappy (curly) headed.

On the other side of the debate we have the closet racists who secretly snicker, delighted at the very idea of being able to say publicly, what many of them feel in their hearts secretly. They believe honestly that all African Women are ugly, nappy headed and without morals or self restraint when it comes to sex. We should ask ourselves where they might get such ideas? Does the media, including movies, and Black actors have anything to do with that?

There is a third view, and that view says that Imus is not a racist. He's simply mean mouthed and is accustomed to being paid millions of dollars to say such things. That could spoil any of us into believing that we can say anything and whatever we want. Even when it is not true, and causes great harm to others who are innocent. There is a class of people in this country who say what ever they want, and get away with it everyday. They are called "media" and the "press," and politicians, and don't forget Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell. Who said that the prophet Muhammad is a pedophile, and a terrorist? Is that person still employed?

Imus is a member of that industry that led the US into war in Iraq based upon lies. He seems to be the poster boy for those who support the war, and who feel that the war is justified by the fact that we are at war, as they desired. That being the case, we must now support the troops by killing them in an unecssary war. In other words, they do things because they can.

Then, there is my view. The view of a woman of African heritage who was born in St. Louis Missouri, and grew up on the South Side of Chicago. I spent most of my adult life between Washington DC and Jersey City New Jersey. In other words, I know a "hoe" when I see one. They don't routinely organize basketball teams for universities or join such teams. They usually work nights, and most don't have 3.0 GPAs.

Many people like myself, (non-Hoe)are not upset by either the word "hoe" or "nappy headed" or the two words combined. What upsets us is when decent women who are not "hoes" are called "hoes." We get extra mad when they are called "nappy headed hoes" as if that is an especially low class of "hoe." There are all types of hoes, all equally challenged morally according to most standards. Let me add that I disagree with the argument that women are appalled only by men calling women hoes. We are also appalled when women call other women hoes, or when anyone else calls women hoes, when they are speaking about women who are not whores.

Did anyone else pay notice to the timing of the Imus incident and today's dropping of all charges against the Duke Lacrosse players accussed of rapping an exotic dancer who is also African American. Today they said that the dancer can't remember if any sexual intercourse actually took place, after the media reported earlier that the hospital had documented trauma typical of rape. The supposed victim didn't say today that she forgot that during that party she was called nigger, and whore, as originally reported. She only forgot whether or not she was raped. Are we ready to riot yet? Someone might hope that we are.

This is a situation where a very powerful man, with practically unequalled access into our homes, our offices, our cars, and our hearts, chose to abuse that privileged position by accusing 12 young brilliant scholar athletes of being whores. Did he think that we would believe him? Did he think that they are really hoes? Or was he looking for a cheap laugh at someone else's expense? Or, is he trying to provoke some type of political reaction?

You can only air Roots so many times. You can only show movie after movie about the Holocaust so often. You can only talk about the Spanish Inquisition, and the Crusades, and the Islamo fascists so much. In the US, we are almost numb to racial slurs, innuendo and hate mongering. So, if a group of people, who love to cause chaos wanted to get us all to tear one another's eyes out, how would they do it? If they wanted to distract us from the war, or a pending attack on Iran, what would they do?

Did anyone hear today that our military leaders in Iraq say they have "proof" that Iran is manufacturing and delivering explosives to Iraq to be used against coalition forces? Did anyone pay any attention to the fact that the Executive Branch is about to grow again. It was in the news today. This time it will be a "war cazr" that is added. What happened to the State Department, and Department of Defense? The media had very few questions as to why a Republican administration is growing, rather than limiting government. Did anyone read that our National Intelligence Czar wants to increase survelliance on American citizens? Is "czar" an American English word? Where are we getting these "Czars"?

Imus said that the ladies of Rutgers basketfall fame were covered with tattoos. I watched their press conference, and did not see a single tatoo. No nappy hair, and no subtle solicitation of any male or female viewers of the game for sex for pay. Imus got it wrong. That's part of his crime. He doesn't know a whore when he sees one, and he thought "nappy headed" might be seen as a rank, rather than a racial distinction. He does not deserve to be trusted to report anything honestly.

Imus apologists are arguing that its all the Black community's fault because Blacks haven't done enough to demand censorship of rap performers and artists, something that the anti-free speech crowd would simply love. They would love to have the Black community be their vehicle for a censorship movement, just like they used Blacks to spear head a civil rights movement that we barely benefited from, while they made major gains from civil rights laws, and government 8(a) programs. They would also love for the day to come when no one can criticize any race or group of people, including, and most especially their own favored groups.

Now hear this: "When rappers use the word "hoe" they are talking about real "hoes." People who trade sexual favors for material things, or job interviews, undeserved promotions, free car tune-ups, movies and recording contracts, etc. It can also mean people who sell their souls for material and political advantages or gains. Rappers are not talking about young women like the Rutgers basketball team. Also, they don't mention in their songs any particular person, or group of people. They would never say what Imus said. They speak in generic terms, suggesting that the term applies only to those whose feet fits that "hoe" shoe.

Should Imus be fired? Of course. Why? Because he abused his power, and used it to hurt 12 innocent young ladies who sacrificed tremendously to entertain us, to represent their school, their sisters, their families, etc., in a way that only especially talented people can.

Imus mocked excellence, and tried to tag it with vulgar, antiquated and overused racial epithets. He sought to incite hate and perhaps to cause riots, to divide our country, and to destroy the hope that one day, the United States will escape a dark past that is stained by racism, and genocide, and now torture, warmongering, religious fanaticism, and support internationally for the same. That puts him a class of people that are not suited to the amount, or type of power and privilege that society had awarded him for years of making us laugh at ourselves, and sometimes good heartedly at others. I don't think that a single Imus sponsor or listener would say that they would ever pay Imus, to call 12 of America's best, "nappy headed hoes," because it's not funny. Most importantly, it's not true.

Why we hate the war

I wasn't old enough to understand the politics of the Vietnam war. I do remember the affect the Vietnam war seemed to have on the United States. I remember Kent State, and that Americans had killed American children on a university campus over a war being fought in a foreign country for reasons that no one seemed to really understand. I remember watching the anti-war protests on the news. The police would stand between the anti-war protesters and others who lined the street screaming at the tops of their lungs, calling the protesters "commies," and "traitors," and "reds." I remember listening to a debate on the war. One person argued that unless the US defeated the Viet Cong that the world would come under communist rule. I remember when we evacuated Vietnam, and reading later about the massacres of Vietnamese people by their own people, also about the Cambodians who were killed, all after the war, and by their won people, revenge for their support of the US. Back here at home, it was life as usual. School, church and washing dishes. No communist takeover. We had killed a lot of people, and a lot of people had died because they believed in us, and a lot of our young men had died, and returned home disabled, and insane, and we had spent millions of dollars, and for what? What was gained by the Vietnam war?

Today, our country is again being torn apart by a war being fought in a foreign country. This time it is Iraq. Again we have Americans calling one another traitors, and commies, and saying that if we bring our troops home that Al-Qadea will follow us back here, and the world is going to be overtaken by Islamo fascists. There has not been another Kent state, thank God, but there is a Valerie Plame, an American intelligence operative who was betrayed by her government who leaked her name to the media, exposing the fact that she was a CIA agent working to track and prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. It wasn't al-Qadea or the Vietcong who betrayed her, ironically it was the same White House who told us that we must invade Iraq to prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Our government turned upon itself, to undermine a person who was doing peacefully, what they claimed they could only do militarily.

To those who claim that people who oppose this war in Iraq are emboldening the enemy, and that if we bring home the troops, Al-Qadea will come to America, I say "Bullshit!" and I'm no pinko commie faggot, and I'm no Al-Qadea sympathizer either. I am an American. One of the people who believed the government's lies about Iraq and WMD, and who wanted to find a rock to climb under when WMD were not found. I am an American, one of those who watched with tears in their eyes when the Iraqi people, fooled like the rest of us, risked their lives to go and vote for an interim and then a permanent government that was supposed to end the US occupation, and the illegal war. I am now one of those who hate this war.

I hate this war because it is not really a war. They choose to call the invasion a war because it suggests that we had a reason to invade Iraq, and that the Iraqis were our enemies prior to the invasion which is not true. They say war so they can invoke war powers and activate the Commander in Chief, invade people's privacy, tag people enemy combatants and torture them until they are broken and insane without accountability, and rob us of our civil rights and liberties. I hate this war because they lied to the American people and convinced us that there was proof that Iraq had WMD. They convinced our Congress that Iraq posed an immanent threat to the US. None of it was true. I hate this war because it caused us to kill more than 300,000 innocent Iraqi people, and more than 3000 innocent American soldiers and Marines. I hate this war because they have spent billions of hard earned US tax dollars to fight this war, and we don't even know who they are fighting. Who is the enemy in Iraq? Could it be us?

They say "support the troops" by sending more of our children there to fight the phantom enemy, for an unknowable cause. Our children are being killed and maimed for no reason. Yet,they repeat the mantra "support the troops" which means send them to save face for the liars who led them off to start a war against a people who had nothing to do with 9/11. We bombed Iraq regularly, and illegally sanctioned, starving more than 500,000 of their children even before the invasion, and before 9/11. Whose face will our dead soldiers save? Surely not America's blood drenched face. Our face cannot be saved until it is cleaned, and it cannot be cleaned until we end our war against Iraq, and allow peace to come to Iraq. We must leave Iraq because we are the war. We brought the war to Iraq, and we are the war.

The people hate the war because it means that we were not only fooled, but that our deceivers are succeeding. Everyday they are killing more Americans and more Iraqis, and we don't know how to stop them. We hate this war because we hate the liars that took us to war, and we want this war to end. We are the war, and we want to stop warring. We want to make peace with, and for Iraq. We want Iraq to heal, and to recover from a mistaken war. A war that began as part of a wish list for Israel written by the likes of Benyamin Netanyahu, Richard Perle and Douglas Feith. It was a racist, and ugly, dirty and illegal idea, that was followed by a racist, ugly, and illegal war.

Support our troops by bringing them home. Support our troops by putting an end to the ugly lie that caused them to be killed. Iraq's crime is that it exists and is Arab. We must stop this war. We cannot allow the lie to succeed, or cause more loss of life and limb, or to cost another dollar. Shame on the lying politicians who have watched as our children die, and be maimed for no reason. End the war in Iraq. America needs peace! No more American blood for the Zionist Empire!

The True American Narrative and Mission

An article that appeared in the American Conservative magazine by Michael Vlahos called "The Fall of Modernity," at http://www.amconmag.com/2007/2007_02_12/feature.html suggests that the US is loosing the war on terrorism, a war that is now admittedly a war against Islam. The author suggests in the article that we are loosing this war because our national narrative, our American story, failed us as a moral guide. He says that this lack of a moral compass turned us into the very evil that we had sworn to destroy.

Vlahos plants the assumption in his article that the neo-conservative narrative is the American narrative. It is clear by his description of the so-called American narrative, that indeed the author decided that the Zionist drivel and lies force fed to the American people over the past century, and most recently by Zionists cloaked as neo-conservatives, is in fact our national narrative. It is not

Neo-conservatism is not the American narrative, it is in fact derived from the Trotsky-ite faction of Soviet Communism, as neo-conservatives would admit themselves. The older neo-conservatives such as Norman Podhoretz and Irving Kristol were "red diaper babies," born into families that believed in a messianic mission to spread Communism globally, starting with teh Soviet Union. Now they have re-branded the same messianic madness from "Soviet Communism" for "American Democracy" but the results are the same. Just as Soviet Communism was a great tragedy for the Slavic peoples, so the rebranded neo-conservative messianic ideology of "spreading American Democracy" is a tragedy for Americans, as evidenced by the the unnecessary and inexplicable deaths of our children in Iraq, the waste and abuse of US taxpayer money in the trillions of dollars, and the fact that the US, once one of the world's most beloved, and charitable nations, is now one of the world's most cruel and hated.

The ideas and actions that led us into this unenviable situation did not result from any real understanding of America's moral mission as described by the great men and women of American history, most notably the revolutionaries and abolitionists, represented by the likes of our first President George Washington who urged Americans to "avoid foreign entanglements", and abolitionists such as Sojourner Truth, and Frederick Douglas. Neither do our Declaration of Independence or Constitution attest to the neo-con world view. The late 18th century was a rough and bloody world, but they saw fit to explicitly outlaw torture as "cruel and unusual punishment," EVEN IN THE CONDUCT OF WAR.

Our failure has resulted from doublespeak utilized by neo-conservatives, whereby the virtuous ideals and language of American liberation and revolution were used to explain immoral Zionist schemes to carry out criminal wars against humanity and peace, and to justify inhumane acts such as torture, motivated by the vanity and lusts of armchair generals. It is the result of the actions of a cowardly Congress that was bribed into silence and that adopted fake religious zealotry and fanaticism as its cause for everything accept humanness, honesty, peace and truthfulness. A Congress that rather than protect our Constitution, sought upon every opportunity to undermine it, and who made their country a pawn. What American could mistaken this as a mission borne of our history, and religious and political culture, which is a culture crafted by puritans, revolutionaries and abolitionists?

We have been deceived, and just as Adam and Eve were forced out of the garden for their disobedience to God resulting from Satan's deceptive lies, so too the US is losing its stature as one of the world's modern paradises, and for the same reasons. The author of the article is right in this respect. We have lost the war on terrorism because it is not our moral mission to destroy other faiths and cultures. It is not our moral mission to torture people, to starve innocents, demolish their homes, kill and massacre people and assist others in doing so to help them steal land they have no moral, or legal right to. We starved more than 500,000 Iraqi children to death prior to 9/11, claiming that it was to overthrow one man, our former ally Saddam Hussein, and then Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright infamously admitted, "It was worth it." Did we think that God would reward us for that because they were not Jewish, or Christian, or because they were Arabs? We gave Israel money and weapons to kill unarmed refugees, innocent women and children, and to tear down their homes because these people dared to fight back for their survival against a cruel and inhumane and illegal occupation. We called them terrorists, and passed laws to justify killing them through wars, and deprivation of medical care and food, and hope, and now that we feel we have broken them, we are eager to begin negotiations with them. We claim intolerance for racism, while we are complicit in the murder of millions of Arabs and other brown people, who are being killed. We say they want to destroy us because they hate who we are, and our way of life, when the exact opposite is true.

The United States, by most accounts is a primarily Christian country in character and not a Judeo/Christian country. This Christian character does not result from our Christian practices, which are now sadly non-apparent. The US Christian character is a by product of the moral concepts that guided our sensitivities and thereby the promulgation of a civil and positivist law, that while not religious, incorporates to a great degree the moral concepts and teachings of the Bible. The new testament of the Bible is the true American narrative, yet like most things that are non-Jewish, the New testament has been abandoned by the Church because Jews complained that it is "anti-Semitic." To remedy this problem, there are now renditions of the Holy Scriptures suggesting that Judas was a gnostic operating according to a secret suicidal pact with Jesus, wherein Jesus would be killed, and raised into heaven, and Judas rewarded for the role he played as traitor, with a promise that his people would rule the world. Any familiar themes apparent here?

The lie, that the US is a "Judeo/Christian" country, is a lie that was cooked up to present the Jewish law, or rather the Talmud as a legitimate authority in the US, to be imposed here, and subsequently upon the entire world, as a reward to the people of Judas for his great treason, recast as a great sacrifice. The pseudo Christians who have promoted this lie, say that Christian Gentiles are actually "New Jews" who are bound by the Old Covenant, as well as the New Covenant through Jesus. The Old Covenant was based upon sacrifice as atonement for sin, while the New Testament says that it is by God's Grace that mankind is saved. They explain the crucifixion of Jesus as an act of suicide, wherein the Jews and Romans were passive participants, catapulted into their roles by Jesus' stubborn insistence to preach the word of God, disobeying the Jews who had cautioned Jesus to stop violating their laws, and criticising their leaders for their sins, and transgressions and hypocrisy. Now the media trys to convince us that the Christian Zionist church is guiding America. They want us to believe that in fact the Zionist narrative is the American narrative. It is not, and Christian Zionists are not guiding America, they are following the Jewish Zionist neo-conservatives, who are destroying America.

The Biblical narrative is a powerful story of God's mercy, and God's love for all of humanity as taught by Jesus. It is a narrative that suggests to us that the moral American mission is to convey the good news of God's promise of forgiveness of sins, prosperity in this life, and eternal life in His presence for those who refuse to worship the world, and instead worship the God who created it. America, one of the richest, most powerful nations in the world, was to feed the world, and cure its diseases. We were to inspire and uplift the world, and lead, not bully and dominate and dictate to the world. We were to be just, and stand for justice, and not be blind, but seeing right from wrong. That is the meaning of being guided from darkness to light. Justice cannot be blind and be just! We were to build, not destroy, and we were to love and not hate. We were to be peacemakers, and not warmongers, murderers of innocents, and torturers. We were not to undermine God's righteous order by empowering the evil and wicked, and tormenting and persecuting the truth tellers, and the people of faith, the poor, and the weak. Instead of undertaking America's moral mission, we undertook the mission of Satan. We joined his synagogue and became devils, and as a result God has forsaken us, and caused us to be humiliated, and defeated. The Talmud is not the American narrative, and the neo-conservatives are not the prophets of this or any other era.

"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge,God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not right; being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity;whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, spiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable and unmerciful, who knowing the judgement of God, and that they who commit such things are worthy of punishment, not only do the same, but have pleasure in those who do such such acts. Therefore, thou art inexcusable, Oh man, whosoever thou art that judges, for wherein thou judges another, thou condemns thyself, for thou that stands as judge is doing the same crime. Tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that does evil, of the Jew first, and also the Gentile...for there is no respect of person with God" (Romans 1:24-32, and 2:1-29).

The true American narrative and mission

An article that appeared in the American Conservative magazine suggests that the US is loosing the war on terrorism, a war that is now admittedly a war against Islam. The author suggests in the article that we are loosing this war because our national narrative, or story, failed us as a moral guide. He complains that not having a moral guide caused us to loose the moral high ground, by becoming the very evil that we had sworn to destroy. We are not provided any explanation for the author's adaptation of what is now called the "neo-conservative world view," as the American narrative. It is clear by his description of the so-called American narrative, that indeed the author decided that the Zionist dribble and lies force fed to the American people over the past century, and most recently by Zionists cloaked as neo-conservatives, is in fact our national narrative. Tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that does evil, of the Jew first, and also the Gentile...for there is no respect of person with God" (Romans 1:24-32, and 2:1-29).

AIPAC talks, Congress listens, the US sacrifices

An e-mail circulated the Internet today, February 13, 2007, saying that a Congressman named Ackerman, a Democrat, has organized a Congressional sub-committee hearing on US Middle East Policy. His list of witnesses is disheartening, it includes the regular AIPAC minion, Martin Indyk, Daniel Pipes, Washington Institute on Near East Peace, et al. In other words, AIPAC will again come before our US Congress to dictate US foreign policy in the Middle East, and particularly in respect to the Palestine/Israel conflict, and the US taxpayer, Israel's sacrificial lamb will foot the bill for the hearing, and also pay the price for the policy in blood and treasure.

Interestingly, today is also the day that the US House of Representatives began its debate on the Iraq war, and the President's escalation of the war with the insertion of 21 thousand additional combat troops, and perhaps another 20 thousand or so support troops, totaling approximately 41 thousand new troops to go to Iraq to do what? Oh, yeah. They are going to secure Baghdad, and some other more remote areas where insurgents have supposedly taken over and created bases of operation. No one has explained to us yet, how the military can distinguish between insurgents, sunni or shia death squads, or mere citizens of Iraq who might be opposing what they believe is an invading and occupying foreign military. That we are sending additional troops into this fiasco is proof that whoever is running US Middle East policy is stupid as hell. The only other explanation is that they just don't give a damn about the lives of US troops, the US taxpayer's money and opinion, or our supposedly democratic system of government. This is the more likely explanation. They argue that the President is commander in chief, which is true. He is the commander in chief of the military. The United States, lest they forget, is not ruled by the military, it is run by the American people, who elect a civilian government to administrate our affairs, and the Commander in Chief of the military, when it comes to the United States generally, is merely a public servant. So much for the Imperial presidency concocted by AIPAC. You don't have to be a lawyer or a Constitutional expert to know that the US can never be ruled by the military, and that our Presidency is not rolled neatly into a single bundle during war time that makes him a military commander ruling the US like Hitler ruled Germany. In respect to the military he becomes commander in chief, in respect to the American people, he is an elected official that is sworn to uphold and to protect our Constitution, and to administrate our, not his personal affairs, nor the affairs of his friends, and cronies, or AIPAC. In democracies the majority rules, and today, according to credible polls, 67% of the American people say it's time to bring our troops home, and our elected President, who is the commander in chief of the military, should listen to his countrymen and women, and abide by their will.

You might be asking now, what any of this has to do with Congressman Ackerman's Congressional sub-committee hearing featuring AIPAC as the only witness, disguised as several witnesses, most notably Daniel Pipes, and Martin Indyk. If you get woozy and sick at the stomach just thinking about how our government lied and tricked us into Iraq to appease Israel, and then had the audacity to send our President to call for more American human sacrifice to destroy Israel's challengers in the Middle East, after already killing more than 3000 American children, and maiming many more, not to mention the hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis we have killed, you will pewk when you imagine that Ackerman has convened this hearing to get the US further involved in the Palestine/Israel conflict. It's not enough that we have shredded our Constitution, by denying the basic civil rights of Muslims and Arabs in our country to support Palestine, Israel wants the US to put US boots on the ground in Israel, and billions of more US taxpayer dollars. Of course in return we get more promises of peace, that are as likely as their promises of victory in Iraq. Anyone who knows and understands Israel's goals in respect to the ME, recognizes this proposed sub-committee as the next step in a campaign to expand US involvement in the ME to include war with Iran and Syria, and US, rather than Israeli occupation and subjugation of Palestine. Ackerman, a Democrat is an example of how AIPAC has poisoned our Congress, and why our country cannot shake of its slavish posture in respect to Israel, so long as our Congress is AIPAC's mouthpiece and puppet.

Any American worth their salt should be outraged. We must end AIPAC's control over our government, and its dictation of US foreign policy in the Middle East. Ackerman makes ir clear that we cannot expect the help of our government in that respect. We should consider that our government is a captive that can't be freed by mere voting for either Democrats or Republicans. It is time for a third, AIPAC prohibited, independent party in the US, and it might also be time for the US judiciary to get involved in US policy making, determining what aspects of our policies are Constitutional, and what aspects clearly are not, before they are implemented. US complicity with Israel in its illegal occupation of Palestine, and its genocide in Palestine, clearly violates the Geneva Conventions, to which the US is a signor. It's very strange that the US and Israel are pressing the Palestinian Authority to recognize all past agreements between Israel and the PLO, when neither Israel or the US will recognize the Geneva Conventions, which is a body of international law that is recognized by, and was signed by almost every country in the world.

I hope that on the day of Ackerman's hearings, that Americans will be in the hallways of Congress protesting this travesty, and that the streets outside the Congress will be filled with the families of US soldiers and Marines who will say no more US human sacrifice for Israel,no more money for Israel, and peace in the Middle East. It is also my hope that we, the people will not wait until November of 2008 to make our voices heard as to who will lead our country. We must start now to construct a new government forum, a new third party of patriots that will stand up against the Democrats and the Republicans, an advocate American independence not only from Israel, but also from AIPAC, and anyone who puts a foreign government's interests over our Constitution, and the will, and rights of the American people.

Who will save the West from itself?

American collaboration with Israel and the rest of the Western powers in the ongoing genocide in Palestine is criminal and wrong. The only thing more disgraceful is that all of the Western powers, and also the UN, will convene here in the US to discuss a solution to the suppossed problem created when the Palestinians elected a Hamas dominated government. Is Hamas the cause of the problems that plague the Middle East? Why didn't these same powers convene to discuss what the world should do in response to the American people electing a Republican or Democrat government? Both have done little more than fleece the American taxpayer, kill our children in illegal wars, and give our daughters plenty of contraception,or abortion, and our old men Cialis. Well, actually they have done more. They have also created chaos in one of the most important regions of the world, while simultaneously killing millions of innocent civilians (many more than Hamas)and calling them, "collateral damage." This meeting is as ridiculous as the White House event, wherein the newly elected German Chancellor came to the US to call for Western unity in condemning Iran for saying that there are discrepancies in the holocaust history. While she was condemning Iran, some weirdo was waiting to be heard in an Italian court, where he planned to challenge the Church's claim that Jesus existed as a historical figure. Can you imagine, she wanted the Western world to unite against Iran for challenging holocaust exaggerations. She couldn't care less about a legal challenge to the existence of Jesus. Even though she leads one of the great Christian nations, she didn't call for Western unity in defense of Christ. She called for Western unity in defense of the holocaust story, and Jewish pride.

The media is reporting that the ultra Zionist Benjamin Netanyahu and his ilk are telling the Western nations that they must come together in defense of everything Israeli and Jewish since anti-Semitism is supposedly on the rise. They say anti-Semitism is threatening again as in World War II, to manifest as another holocaust. What garbage. What about the genocide being perpetrated by Israel and the Western powers against the Palestinian people? Who should unite in their defense? Perhaps Israel should ask "why" anti-Semitism is growing, and the US should perhaps ask why anti-Americanism is also growing, along with growing discontent right here in the states.

The US made a big mistake when it turned our intelligence gathering, and foreign policy making over to the Israeli government and their counterparts operating here in the US, including AIPAC. They have killed more than 3000 American children, and maimed and tormented many more, in a plot that is so ridiculously stupid that no one can even talk about it. Their war on terrorism, their war in Iraq, their pre-emptive strike doctrine, their torture, their lies, and their other crimes against humanity like the genocide in Palestine are an embarrassment to the Western world, or should be. They have perhaps squandered billions in US taxpayer money, and stolen billions more, skimming off of American pension funds, and have been stealing from reconstruction projects in Iraq. They have derailed the credibility of the US government, and destroyed American prestige and influence in the world. Now they want us to send 40 thousand more of our children into Iraq to die, and also to attack Iran either along with them, or in their defense. This all seems just fine with our so-called representative government that gets bigger, and less representative of American sentiment, and more representative everyday of the Jewish sentiment, which is morally skewed, self absorbed, violent and also self destructive.

So the big question today is, "who will save the West from itself?" Who will save us from the people who call themselves Western "leaders" yet they have forsaken their obligation to their own people, countries and children in order to appease a foreign power that has given us nothing but headaches. This foreign power, while demanding our money, our children's lives, and also our honor and our pride, has also sought to undermine our Constitution. Our "ally" has left us nothing, not even the illusion of independence and power. They have enslaved the American worker, who now works more hours per day for less money than almost any other worker in the industrialized world, yet can't get affordable health care, housing, or a pension. They have poisoned our people with drugs and pornography and sexual addictions and crime. They have broken up our families, and caused fear and suspicion to weaken our communities. These are the people who will convene in Washington to decide the fate of the Arab and Muslim world, beginning with Palestine. These are the people who will decide what to do about Hamas, as though Hamas is what is plaguing the world. Who will save Palestine from us, and who will save us from ourselves?

If we are lucky, the people of the United States will stop shopping, and start listening. If we are lucky we will stop eating, and try to understand what is happening to our country, and what is being done in the world in our names. Whereas our government is a joke, we, the people, can salvage the great American experiment simply by upholding our Constitution, and demanding that it be adhered to. We must save ourselves, from ourselves, by turning to the past and giving new life to our Constitution. It is an idea and a testament to independence, freedom and equal rights. It is the threads that stitched together the souls of these 50 states, and though often strained, had never been completely torn except once, resulting in a civil war. Will we wait for our country to become like Iraq or Palestine? Occupied, drained and stripped of its resources, its wealth, and power, and like the Palestinians, will we start killing one another to curry favor from enemies? Wake up America!

Is Carter an "anti-Semite" or is he an example?

The claim by the Jewish Lobby that former US President Jimmy Carter is an anti-Semite since he implys in his new book, that the illegal wall put up by Israel on Palestinian land, is an "apartheid wall," is a strange claim. The wall was constructed according to Israel, to separate Israel from Palestine, and also to prevent Palestinians from entering Israel, which is an apartheid wall, since Israel also claims that it wants this separation to preserve the "Jewishness" of Israel.

There seems to be little doubt that the wall is indeed an apartheid wall. It is also an illegal wall, one that the International Court of Justice said is illegal, and demanded that it be torn down. Of course Israel, who has never seen a UN resolution that it didn't rush to ignore, has simply acted as if the International Court said nothing, when what the Court said, should resolve the Carter debate. The Court ruled that the wall is illegal. It is illegal because it illegally confiscates land, and imprisons the Palestinians. It is an apartheid wall. The Jews of South Africa even issued a public statement that was reported by the Associated Press, saying that the wall is an apartheid wall, and that Israel is a racist apartheid state. Desmond Tutu and many other notables have said that Israel is involved in a project in Palestine that is illegal, racist, and that mimics almost exactly the former apartheid regime of South Africa.

The parallel between South Africa and Israel has been mentioned so often, and by so many people that we must ask ourselves why the Jewish Lobby is so angry with Carter. Could it be because they feel that they are loosing their grip on the American people, and that we are no longer afraid to speak out against Israeli injustices, especially those that are being funded with US taxpayer dollars? Could it be that they want to make Carter an example, so other high profile personalities will shy away from ever criticizing Israel?

It's time that this term "Anti-Semite" be retired from the US political lexicon since it is clearly defamatory, and can cause those so charged, whether they are anti-Semites or not, to suffer very real financial, and other types of damages. It is the tool, that once removed, puts the Jewish Lobby and the Israel first crowd back on an even playing field in the political debate in our country with the rest of America.
